I hope the first few eps of SPN for the new season are standalones. I think that would help capitalize on any new viewers checking things out from its exposure at ComicCon, or from catching sporadic reruns over the summer. And if they made them rock and they were gory and creepy, that would be a definite plus too.

Second, the author of my current book obsession has announced on her LJ that she will be there signing autographs on Thursday. And she has a new Nightrunner book coming out next year (and, I believe a book 5 coming out after that).

And now, it seems that Kripke and Co are going to trek on down the coast and put something together too.
